Current Reading: One of Those Malibu Nights by Elizabeth Adler
Because I have no reliable means of transportation to go anywhere, I ended up at the library after getting my schedule and books at school. That day, I brought one of my summer books to read (Mythology) while waiting a good four hours. After getting bored from reading about the Trojan War, I decided to look for something a little bit more interesting to read. I went to the shelf closest to the table where I was sitting and it was the A section of the fiction section. I decided to pick up one of Elizabeth Adler's books (which happened to be placed on the shelf along my eye level). I borrowed one of her books before, but because I got a little lazy to continue on with it and renew it, I never got to finish it, but now that I had the time, I decided to borrow another one of her books.
I must say that I love Elizabeth Adler's writing style-simple and sophisticated. Though I am not the type to read romance novels, Elizabeth Adler's writing is an exception. She is such a captivating author-words so relaxing, but when the plot comes to an intense scene, be sure to keep your lights on (okay, it's not that intense, but it's just a precaution because I get startled easily >.<).
I have yet to finish this book, but I highly recommend this one. For any of those who aren't big on romance novels, this will definitely change your mind.
Cheers!
-Eliza
